Our Rules/ Asian Handicap Soccer

Asian Handicap wagering offers value to the bettor by reducing the outcome of a Soccer match from the traditional three way(Home, Draw, Away) style to an event with only two selections. The handicap is based upon the relative strenghts of the two competing sides and is derived to give a roughly equal chance to both teams. The winning team is decided on the final score, after 90 minutes(regular time), after taking the handicap into account.

There are two(2) types of handicap:

  • A single handicap
  • A split handicap(Coming Soon)

Single Handicap

Example One(1): Manchester United(-0.5) @ -150 vs. Liverpool(+0.5) @ +130

$100 Wager

Asian Handicap wagering on the above Manchester United/ Liverpool game provides just two possible outcomes instead of three. In this case the handicap has Manchester United playing "minus half a goal" with Liverpool playing "plus half a goal". A player can wager on Liverpool plus 0.5 goal @ $100 to win $130 or Manchester United minus 0.5 goal @ $150 to win $100. If you wager on Liverpool +0.5, the team must draw the match for the player to win, as the team is getting a half goal to start. Conversely if you back Manchester United at -0.5 Manchester United must win the match by at least one(1) goal, as Liverpool is getting a half goal.

Example Two(2): Manchester United(-0-) @ -150 vs. Liverpool (-0-) @ +130

If the two teams are evenly matched a -0- ball handicap would be offered. In this case the player can wager on Manchester United @ -150 or on Liverpool @ +130 to win the match. If the match ends in a draw all wager are refunded.

Example Three(3): Manchester United (-1) @ -150 vs. Liverpool (+1) @ +130

Manchester United is giving away 1 goal to Liverpool. If you back Manchester United at -1, Manchester United must win the match by at least two(2) goals for you to win your wager. This is because Manchester United's winning score needs to exceed Liverpool's score by more than 1 goal. However your wager will be refunded if Manchester United beats Liverpool by only one(1) goal. You will lose your wager if Manchester United draws or loses the match. Conversely, if you back Liverpool at +1 you will win your wager if Liverpool wins or draws the match. If Liverpool is beaten by one goal, your wager will be refunded. The player will lose the wager if Liverpool loses the match by two(2) oe more goals.
