Qualifying Betting:
Wagers on the qualifying performance will be settled according to the grid positions at the end of the qualifying period. All qualifying bets must be placed before the practice session preceding the qualifying session. Any bet placed after the practice session before the qualifying round will be deemed void.
The Race:
The race will be deemed to have started after the signal to commence the warm up lap. Any driver(s) not taking part after the signal for this race will be treated as “non-runners” and all the wagers placed on them will be treated as no action unless otherwise specified. If a driver withdraws after the start or is replaced by another driver all bets on that driver will stand. In the case of a replacement driver the original driver will be deemed as the driver of that car for the entire race. This holds for wagering on win odds and/or match-ups.
Wagering on the "Field" includes any driver that odds have not been assigned to. If the race is stopped and then restarted, then all bets stand regardless of any alteration in positioning. All bets stand if a race is abandoned before an official result can be determined provided the race is re-run at the same location within two weeks of the original schedule date.
Individual race betting, match up and positional, will be determined by the podium positions at the end of the race and will not be affected by any subsequent enquiries, disqualifications or alterations made after the official end of the race. Appeals and administrative penalties are not applicable for betting purposes. Nevertheless black flags and lap disqualification made during the running of the race will stand as to the final positions. For settlement purposes the number of finishers in the race will be that which is officially stated, including those drivers lapped by a circuit or more.
For win bets and pole bets to count at least 1/2 of the scheduled drivers must start in the race or in the qualifying session for pole bets. If a race is postponed or re-scheduled, all wagers will remain active providing the race is run in a period of time not exceeding one week from the original scheduled date.
In the event of a race not being completed and the race is ruled official by the race's ruling commission all wagers on the outright winner will have action according to the official results.
Qualifying Matchups - all series:
Qualifying match-ups are graded based on qualifying times (not the starting line-up). Qualifying match-ups are deemed action as soon as the driver starts the qualifying lap and the timer begins.
If a driver has started the qualifying lap, but does not post a time because of mechanical failure, accident, etc. the wager will still be graded as action.
If the driver fails to start the qualification for any reason, i.e. does not begin the timed qualifying session, then the wager will be graded as no action, and money refunded.
If a driver starts a qualifying session, but fails to post a time, then the driver will be deemed to have no time, which is the slowest time possible. If two drivers are matched up against each other, and neither posts a time, the match up will be graded a push/cancel.
In the case where two drivers post the exact same time to the thousandth of a second then the match up will be graded as a push/cancel. The starting position where the governing body places them in this instance is not relevant for betting purposes.
For NASCAR only, qualifying matchups are closed at the start of first practice unless a disclaimer is made on the site otherwise. This may occur when practice is the day before qualifying. If a disclaimer is not made, any qualifying bets made after the first practice session has begun will be graded as no action, and the bets will be refunded.
Match-Ups for the Race:
If either driver fails to start then all bets will be made void on that specific match up. If both drivers fail to finish the race then it is the driver who has completed the most laps who is deemed the winner. If both drivers retire on the same lap all match bets will be void . In the event of a race not being completed and even though the race is ruled official by the race's ruling commission all wagers on prop and match-ups will be ruled no action.
In order for qualifying matchups to have action the qualifying period must be completed.
If points or any other system is used to determine the starting positions all qualifying matchups will be ruled as no action.
For multiple position bets such as top 3, top 8, show betting, etc. at least 2/3 of the scheduled drivers must start in the race. If fewer than 2/3 of the scheduled drivers start all bets will be graded as a push/cancel. |
